To the Branderhorst familie. So sorry for your loss. We received word from Milton Kooistra about Corrie's death. My mother Janny visited Corrie in Canada in 2007 just after Corrie had surgery. My mom was picked up from the AirPort by one of Corrie's sons who had my mom as a guest for the one night after which Corrie got out of hospital and then they went touring together with a relative of Corrie's as a designated driver. A year or so later, Corrie came to Holland and stayed at my parents in Den Helder. These last 10 years my mom and Corry kept in touch, calling one another over the phone and wending Christmas cards. My mom and Corrie knew eachother from way back, working in the local municipal hospital in Den Helder, The Netherlands. And me? I got to meet Corrie when she stayed at my parents.

To the Branderhorst Family may God be your comfort and strength tomorrow and in the days ahead. I have a bad chest cold and I don't want the Family to get sick from me. I would love to be at her funeral. Corrie was my sister in Christ. She smiled so much and always made me feel loved. I loved her and believe she is with our Lord and Saviour! My condolences to the Branderhorst family. When I was young I would run over to the Branderhorst family home to watch the Leaf game with Ed and other family members. Mrs. Branderhorst was always so welcoming and friendly. Whenever I saw her throughout the years following she was the same . Such a nice lady. God bless the family.
